Who am I and why does "fake" laughter work?
Many have been drawn here after watching laughter yoga on NRK.
And yes – it might look a little strange. Until you try it yourself.
My name is Erlynee, and I lead laughter yoga – a simple, effective form of exercise that gives more energy, lower stress, and better interaction.
We laugh on purpose, through eye contact and childlike playfulness.
No jokes. No humor. No achievement.
And here's the funny thing: The body can't distinguish between real and "fake" laughter.
Therefore, you get the same psychological health benefits – regardless. Science is actually completely on our side here.

She was absolutely the perfect person to lead a session like this—so charming and effortlessly created a safe, welcoming space. It takes a special kind of person to pull off something like this and get a whole room to ‘fake’ laugh together!
It was a fantastic break from a theory-heavy program. We got to stand up, shake off some tension, and just have fun being a little silly together with colleagues!
What a wonderful experience!
